This apartment is located on the ground floor and overlooks two terraces, in a recent building (2010) and very secure with a guard. There is parking in the building (extra 10 € / day), available on request.
It is ideal for business travelers who want to stay next to the Parc des Expositions Porte de Versailles. Indeed, there are two bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and 2 separate toilets. In the first bedroom there are two single beds in the second bedroom a single bed. There is also a nice large living room with a dining table, wireless internet and TV, and the open and fully equipped kitchen. All rooms have views of the two terraces on either side of the apartment. The apartment is very quiet.
The Denfert – Rocherau neighborhood encompasses the eastern part of the 14th arrondissement. It is a neighborhood that was working-class in the past, and now has become residential and very prized for its clam and many green-spaces. To the west is the rue Daguerre, a pedestrian street, where it is very pleasant to walk. Behind is the office of the mayor of the 14th arrondissement. The Gare Montparnasse to the west is an animated, commercial area. The Montparnasse cemetery is located on the boulevard Raspail, where Gainsbourg, Sartre, Man Ray, Maupassant, Baudelaire, as well as other personalities are buried. To the north, bordered by the avenue Montparnasse, is Port-Royal, which separates the 13th and 14th arrondissements by the rue de la Santé to the east. The Cartier foundation is also located on the boulevard Raspail, and is a top exhibition place for contemporary art. Ideal for a making a stop, its garden is sheltered by a monument of glass created by architect Jean Nouvel. A bit further south is the rue d’Alésia, a commercial street where you can get good deals on clothing, with many sales on name-brand items. Going down towards the south, you will come to the Parc Montsouris, a little gem of green, an English-style park dating to the 19th century. If you want to discover the incredible villas dating from the 19th-20th centuries, take a walk on the Square de Montsouris, rue Georges Braque, Villa Seurat…little streets where each villa is more beautiful than the last, and some were designed by famous architects like Le Corbusier, Hallé, etc. It is a calm neighborhood and is well-served by the RER and the metro, and you can get to the heart of Paris quickly and relax in this neighborhood.
