The Monceau-Batignolles-Maillot district extends over the entire 17th arrondissement. It is bounded to the south-east by the Place de Clichy. Meeting place and crossroads, this square is very busy day and night. A large cinema, the Pathé Wepler, and many brasseries await you there, it is a very lively district. You have to take the Rue des Dames, get lost in the alleys to reach the Square de Batignolles, a haven of greenery. On this side, it is a residential area and pleasant to live. The east of the 17th arrondissement is more popular than the west, towards Wagram, where the district becomes more prestigious; the Haussmann facades harmonize.
